Simple Mindfulness


I open the jar of espresso which I grounded myself and stored.

I smell the coffee.

This begins my morning mindfulness moment.

I press the grinds to become flat and smooth.

I turn on the stove and fan.

I hear the sound of fan.

The flame is blue….

It starts to make noise

pop pop pop pop pop

This cup is for Green Tea but why not use for an espresso.

I Love the two-toned colour and texture.

Smelling my espresso, I am ready to start my day.
