One Sunday morning, my orchid flower was about to bloom (top left). Every few hours the petals opened slowly.
Without knowing Tai Chi, I probably wouldn’t pay much attention.
In Tai Chi teaches you to focus on slowing down your movements, but it is not just your actions that becomes slow.
You must also slow down your mind, and by doing so, you begin to see more details in every movement, including that of a flower.
The more detail you see in something, the more meaningful it becomes to you.
This is a precious.
Try slowing down you mind and focus on something in your home that you might not have paid much attention before. Like a flower, a painting, or a favourite decorations …..
Take time to slowly look at that thing and observe what you see. You may just discover something new.
