I have had the pleasure of attending Hiromi's fitness classes for a number of years now. One thing Hiromi always stress in your classes is the importance of the core, how every movement must stem from the core to not only be fully effective as intended by the exercise at hand but, also, that using our core will allow us to power through the exercise without causing unnecessary pain. I have found this to be true.
In fact, I am so convinced of this through my own experience that I have mentioned to my husband how tightening the core before a movement, as instructed by Hiromi, makes us stronger. I encouraged him to try this while playing golf, a game he loves and is constantly trying to improve at. To my surprise, he decided to do this. To his amazement, tightening his core before his swing improved his game immensely. His colleagues are in awe. My husband tells me that he has easily added 20 yards to his golf shots by using his core on the front swing to release the power. Needless to say, he is thrilled.
I hope to be able to attend Hiromi's classes for years to come as I have found Hiromi to be incredibly knowledgeable as an instructor. I am reaping so many benefits from Hiromi's classes.
